Our three principals offer more than 40
years of combined experience, with a proven track record of delivering
award winning projects to national and international clients.
This includes extensive experience in the design and delivery
of mixed-use, retail, hotel, office and multi-family residential
projects.
Prior to co-founding JP2, James
Pett, AIA, served as Vice President at RTKL Associates
(1996-2003) and Brown Craig Turner Architects (2003-2006). In
that capacity, he directed such notable projects as The Fashion
Center at Pentagon City, Bowie Town Center, Peabody Place and
Arkadia Center in Warsaw, Poland. He brings more than 20 years
experience in the design and documentation of major commercial
mixed use and retail projects. He has directed the design and
delivery of numerous facilities for clients such as Simon Property
Group, Forest City Enterprises, General Growth Properties and
others. He holds a degree in architecture from Carnegie - Mellon.
Throughout his career, Gordon Godat,
AIA, has been privileged to lead the design of projects
for a variety of national and international industry leading clients.
These include: ASHA Hotels, Simon Property Group and T. Rowe Price.
A former Vice President with BCT Architects and Associate Vice
President with the firm of RTKL Associates, Mr. Godat also acts
as an adjunct professor at the Johns
