This 30,000 s.f. Yacht Club is designed to sit within the residential neighborhood of 'Isles of Capri' on Florida's west coast. A private community amenity, the facility supports two waterside restaurants, private banquet rooms, shower and locker rooms for boaters, the marina offices and a chandlery. Its planning and architecture draw heavily on traditional Floridian vernacular forms. The narrow, constrained site was turned to an advantage through the use of a waters edge promenade linking the marina to the various amenities.
