Designed as a mixed-use 220 unit apartment building in proximity
to the Washington D.C. Metro, the Huntington Avenue project
promotes urban style growth in a satellite metropolitan
hub. Ten stories of one and two bedroom market-rate luxury
apartments sit atop an imbedded parking garage and 7,000
s.f. of ground floor retail. To best integrate the project
into the surrounding context, stacked “two over two”
condominiums are proposed for the back edge of the site
where the neighborhood gradually blends into single family
detached style homes. The overall development exemplifies
transit oriented design sitting adjacent to the existing
Huntington Metro Station.
