The project consists of a mall expansion and new department
store for the Plaza del Caribe mall in Ponce, PR. The existing
mall, anchored by a Sears, Sears Brand Home Store and JC Penney’s
department store is the only enclosed mall in Ponce. The two
story expansion of 100,000 s.f. includes both upper level
and lower level entrances and ties in to the existing Grand
Court at the south end of the center. The upper level features
an outdoor piazza area flanked by restaurant tenants to create
a lively new entry for this thriving center in Puerto Rico’s
second largest city.
